Disappointed

I bought a new Matthew’s lift on 11/28/2024 and was really excited to find an alternative to the high price Matthew’s stabilizer. The build quality and looks were great at first glance but when I tried to install with bridge lock knob I found out the threads we’re not correct the archery shop tried several other redline bridge stabilizers and all were incorrectly threaded in the store .and it would not work with out a factory bridge lock knob I had to return it and am currently looking for alternatives . I am exceptional disappointment with the quality control and fell product was released with out throughly testing. Would love to find a way to make this work if the manufacturer has a fix

Needs work.

Typically I don’t write reviews but I feel like this needs one. I like redline Bowhunting as a company. I like what they are doing. Affordable archery equipment that competes with the higher priced stuff but doesn’t sacrifice features. Early on they hit that mark very well. In the last two years though they have really had issues. The problem I’ve run in to multiple times now is quality. This stabilizer specifically had multiple problems. First, the threading on the quick connect bolt to screw into the riser was wrong. It’s marketed as being a universal bridgelock stabilizer so if you don’t own a newer Mathews you can still use it on your bow. Every bow company uses the same thread pitch for your stabilizer bolt. Well apparently not the one I got. The bolt would not screw into the riser so I would need to retap the threads to get it to work. Not something I should have to do. Second, it does not fit in the bridgelock stabilizer hole on the Mathews. Dimensionally it is small enough but it’s too small and has too much play and when screwed down it’s canted off center. Again marketed as being able to be installed on the Mathews directly and again not so unless you like your stabilizer sticking out to the left. Third, the thumb knob does not fit the thumb knob hole on the Mathews to lock in the bar. It’s advertised as being able to be used on Mathews. Once again the thread pitch is wrong. Now this I read was a known issue and redline includes a second bolt “fixing” this issue but you need an Allen wrench to install and uninstall. Basically rendering a huge part of using the bridgelock style stabilizer useless. If I can’t use their provided quick disconnect, can’t use the bar in the bridgelock and even if I do I need tools to install and uninstall, this is a fail to me. Lastly the bar is not 12 inches. This may be nitpicking but if you remove the weights and take off their connection piece it’s barely over 10 inches. Every other stabilizer I’ve seen measures the bar itself without the weights included as the measurement. All put together with their connection piece and the weights I guess it’s 12 inches long. Yeah I could have gotten a lemon or an early model with some QC issues but like I said, this is not the first product from redline recently that had these kinds of problems. I bought a Torch sight that basically fell apart on me and then the anvil quiver that looked like it was hot glued together and if you removed the quiver from the bow, the tension latch that locks the quiver in place when on your bow would swing free and bang against itself making a very loud noise. The first sight I got from them, the RL2 was amazing. The v-bar I got from them, amazing. Everything after that has really been poor. Visually the bar looks great. The machining and finish is top notch I just wish it was done in the correct specs. I hope they see this and make the improvements needed because I like the guys at redline and want them to succeed.

Quality stabilizer

I put this on my Lift 29.5. I was looking for a stabilizer that I could utilize the inline bridge lock with. I wasn't going to pay the amount that the manufacturer wanted. This is a well built stabilizer regardless of price. It has helped with pin float, and fits the bridge lock perfectly. Having the removable threaded adapter is a plus, as it can be moved to non bridgelock bows as well. I am very happy with it.

12" Bridge Stabilizer Redline

Very impressed except for one design change I would take to your engineering. Just a suggestion. I run 12" RL back & 12" front Mathews. I use the Mathews Bridgelock back bar mount with the Redline 12" Bridge and 12" Mathews front. Don't take this wrong but as a continous improvement suggestion. Design your Bridge mount in a way as you can slip it forward or after as what length is required for your shooting style. This would alleviate cutting a RL 12" bar to whatever length but giving you the capability to adjust it to whatever length you like. My guess you would probably sell even more Bridge Bars. I have full adjustibility on my Lift 33 running your bar aft through the Mathews back bar Bridge mount. Mathews is way to proud of there product but one defect they should improve on is the Bridgelock receivers through the riser and mounts. Aluminum knobs through Aluminum riser and accessories spells galling, I'm already looking at having Helicoils or the such to improve these fittings and going to steel shafted knobs to alleviate this up and coming issue. Very easy to cross threat bar knobs while adjusting or removing bars. Might want to rethink your knobs or the threaded shafts. I heard of an issue on this before but can't recall where. Other than that I really do like your product as Mathews bars run alot people off. Continous improvement, always think at the bottom line, the customer.
Thank you,
Michael McDaniel

Great stabilizer

The stabilizer is great. My first one broke by the dampener but warranty covered it so that was fine.I do wish though they made a 14 inch and that the knob for the mount would screw into the bow. It just has an allen screw if you want to stick it in your Mathews riser.
